The Second Asian-African Conference

In 1965, countries in Asia and Africa sought to convene the Second Asian-African Conference, a follow up to the 1955 Bandung Meeting. The Conference was called off due to the Sino-Soviet split and the toppling of the Ben Bella government in Algeria. (Photo: Zhou Enlai visits Algeria in December 1963.)
