Letter from the Embassy of Pakistan to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 1356-F-103/53)

The Embassy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China and have the honour to state that Mr. Mahmud Shah, an official of the Government of Pakistan at Chini Bagh, Kashgar, has been asked to return to Pakistan along with all the official records now lying with him. He has also been asked to dispose of all the moveable property of the Government of Pakistan before he proceeds to Pakistan
2. The Embassy of Pakistan shall be grateful if the local authorities in Sinkiang are requested to extend such facilities as Mr. Mahmud Shah may stand in need of for making all necessary arrangements preparatory to his departure for Pakistan.
The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China the assurances of their highest consideration.
The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
