Letter from the Embassy of Pakistan to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 1980-F-129/54)

The Embassy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China and have the honour to state that Syed Mohammad Jan Agha, a Pakistan national in Yarkand, has informed this Embassy that he is experiencing some difficulty in the sale of his rural and urban immoveable property in Sinkiang. He has therefore requested for assistance in this regard so that he could pay off the annual Government levy and also finance his return to Pakistan. Syed Mohammad Jan Agha has also communicated that he is very keen to leave by August this year provided he is allowed to settle all his affairs by that time.
2. The Embassy would be grateful if Syed Mohammad Jan Agha’s request could be considered favourably.
The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China the assurances of their highest consideration.
The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
