Letter from the Embassy of Pakistan to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 3776-F-198/52.)

The Embassy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China and have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Ministry’s Note No.1 (52) 294/Fa Pu Ya dated the 17th July 1952. The Embassy would be grateful if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China would kindly give the following information in respect of Pakistan nationals mentioned in the Ministry’s Note:
1) Mohammad Amin Khan Akhun resident of Shu Fu [Shufu; Konasheher] – whether the investigation of his case has been completed and if so what has been the result of the investigation.
2) What is the length of sentence imposed upon Abdullah Shah resident of Tsepu [Zepu; Poskam]?
2. The Embassy further request that the local administration of Sinkiang [Xinjiang] may kindly be authorised to issue exit permits for returning to Pakistan to Messrs. Mohammad Usman Khan resident of Yeh Ch’eng [Yecheng; Karghilik]; mentioned in the Ministry’s Note under reference and his brother, Habibullah Khan who is also a resident of Sinkiang.
The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity of renewing to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China the assurances of their highest consideration.
The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
