This statement by Azari accuses the Democratic Party of Southern Azerbaijan's leaders of abusing their authority and expelling Party members if they criticized the actions of the leadership. He lists his qualifications and reasoning for his request.

They argue over China's policy toward India and toward Taiwan, and assert that China is pursuing a path that will hurt its Communist allies and risk war.
