1946	Letter, Ya. Malik to Cde. V.M. Molotov In this undated memo, written sometime after July 1946, Malik informs Molotov that he has completed a new draft directive for the Soviet delegation in the Joint Soviet-American Commission cconcerning Korea.
May 31, 1946	Report on the Work of the Joint Soviet-American Commission to Implement the Moscow Decision of the Three Ministers concerning Korea The Soviet delegation proposed procedures for the work of the Joint Commission on Korea and the terms for consultation with parties and public organization; specifically, it called for the Commission to consult and only listen to parties and organizations of Korea that agreed with the Moscow Decision. The American delegation refused this demand, causing lengthy disputes. A list of parties and public organizations from both South Korea and North Korea for the consultation were drawn, but the right-wing parties in the Democratic Chamber, the administrative body of South Korea, opposed the Moscow decision and Joint Commission decision, and the discussion associated with the formation of a Provisional Korean Government was halted.
December 6, 1946	Report from General-Colonel T. Shtykov to Cde. I.V. Stalin and Cde. V.M. Molotov Shytkov concludes that the Soviet delegation cannot back down from its demands for the parties in Korea to support the Moscow decision. A reversal of this position, Shtykov writes, would lead to the domination of US-backed, right-wing parties to take control over the Provisional Government of Korea.
December 10, 1945	Malik, 'On the Question of a United Government in Korea' This document discusses the creation of an independent Korea. Roosevelt, Churchill, and Chiang Kai-shek first presented the idea at the Cairo Conference in 1943. The United States supports the creation of a single Korean state while the USSR opposes it. The document discusses the importance of the answer to the unification question for the Soviet Union's political and economic future as well as its interest in the Far East.
June 1, 1960	From the Journal of N. Ye. Torbenkov, Record of a Conversation with DPRK MFA Counselor Pak Deok-hwan In this incomplete document, Pak Deok-hwan, a Soviet Korean, describes his plans to return to the Soviet Union. He also discusses the "Juche" philosophy being promoted by the KWP that "everything Korean is better compared to [anything] foreign."
May 15, 1949	Telegram, Shtykov to Vyshinsky Shtykov recounts a recent meeting between Kim Il and Mao Zedong.
December 28, 1960	Journal of Soviet Ambassador in the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 28 December 1960 Kim Il Sung and his close aides are very satisfied with the results of the talks in Moscow and the Agreement on Economic and Technical Aid and Trade Turnover. After hearing the prosperous output results of the Pyongyang state farm from Jeong Il-yong, A.M. Puzanov asks Jeong Il-yong to visit the Pyongyang state farm.
December 27, 1960	Journal of Soviet Ambassador in the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 27 December 1960 Pak Yong-guk provides information on the work of the December KWP CC Plenum for all the ambassadors of the socialist countries. What have mainly mentioned in Plenum were great changes in the field of agriculture in 1960 led by Kim Il Sung and KWP CC Presidium members, the tasks in the field of agriculture for 1961.
December 22, 1960	Journal of Soviet Ambassador in the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 22 December 1960 Bogdanov informs Puzanov of his conversation with Ri Ju-sik. Puzanov invites Korean arts officials to a film. Pak Yeon-seong notifies Puzanov that the exhibit given by the Soviet government has successfully arrived.
