Puzanov participates in the meeting to welcome the unofficial North Korean economic delegation's return from the USSR. In his conversation with Pak Jeong-ae and Kim Chang-man, Puzanov suggests that Soviet journalists visit many different sectors of DPRK society to provide a more thorough understanding of North Korea.

Puzanov and Nam Il discuss the KWP CC Presidium's violation of Leninist norms during the August Plenum, possible leadership transitions in the KWP CC, and how the KWP is handling individual dissidents. Later, Puzanov discusses the CPSU CC's approval for education and cultural exchange as well as the Plenum's June decisions with Pak Jeong-aei.

During a one-on-one conversation between Puzanov and Pak Jeong-ae, Pak justifies North Korea's efforts in agricultural collectivization and claims that the KWP CC is not waging a campaign against Soviet Koreans. Then the two discuss prominent DPRK officials and how they are assessed in the party.

Puzanov notes his protocol visits to other foreign representatives in North Korea. He relays his understanding of the DPRK's five-year plan to the Ambassador of China, Qiao Xiaoguang. Later, Puzanov summarizes Pak Jeong-ae's explanation of the need for increased vigilance against South Korea as well as news of an upcoming conference of women.
