The item calls for the stop of discussion on the unification of Korea in the General Assembly due to the lack of resolution in the Korean division, its creation of more complications, violation of international law, lack of moral authority, and self-determination of the Korean people to solve the unification problem by themselves.

Secretary-General of the United Nations U Thant transmits the report of the United Nations Commission for the Unification and Rehabilitation of Korea in accordance with the General Assembly Resolution 2466 (XXIII) to the General Assembly.

In the enclosed letter Yongjeung Kim outlines a resolution to the Korean question and asks Dr. Arenales to circulate the resolution throughout the General Assembly before their annual debate on the Korean problem.
