September 20, 1953	Congratulatory Message [from Mao Zedong] to the Chinese People's Volunteer Army Following the signing of the Korean War Armistice, Mao writes to congratulate the soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers.
October 1950	Four Principles for Unity Between the Chinese People's Volunteer Army and the [North] Korean People Mao instructs soldiers in the Chinese People's Volunteer Army to support Kim Il Sung and abide by North Korean policies while they help defend the North Korean people from the United States.
September 16, 1952	Report, Zhou Enlai to the Chairman [Mao Zedong] and the Central Committee Zhou Enlai updates Mao Zedong on the latest conversations with Stalin and other members of the Soviet leadership. Topics of discussion included Soviet technical assistance to China, developments in the Korean War, the United Nations, and the formation of a regional organization for Asia.

Mao continues to give his advice as to what the best place and time would be for these negotiations (place, on the 38th parallel; and time, 15 July, 1950).
October 31, 1951	Cable No. 25407, Mao Zedong to Cde. Filippov [Stalin] Mao reports to Stalin on the deliver of a message from Kim Il Sung, discussing guidelines for conducting negotiations.
