December 20, 1954	Memo from I. Byakov to the Charge d'Affaires of the Soviet Embassy in the DPRK Byakov and Petrov discuss inter-Korean relations immediately after the Korean War regarding resettlement, relocation of citizens near the demilitarized zones, and declaration of Pyongyang and Kaesong as high-security cities.
August 22, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 22 August 1957 Puzanov and Pak Ui-wan discuss the construction of the Soviet Embassy in North Korea, the KWP CC leadership's suspicions against factionalists, and Pak Ui-wan's efforts to clear himself of suspicion. Later, Puzanov meets with Nam Il and discusses railroad construction, the second session of the World Meteorological Organization, settling citizenship issues, and the sale of goods for agricultural products from collective farms in the Soviet Union.
July 26, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 26-28 July 1957 Kim Il Sung and Nam Il inform Puzanov of the Korean delegation's progress in evaluating the draft of the DPRK's first five-year plan in the USSR. Then they discuss North Korean corn yields, USSR timber harvests for North Korea, and South Korea. Later, Nam Il informs Puzanov of internal matters of the KWP CC.
July 8, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 8 July 1957 Kim Il Sung and Puzanov discuss a meeting with representatives of the CPSU CC and SKYu CC, the American violation of the Korean Armistice agreement, and the Korean people's mixed reactions to the CPSU CC Plenum's June decision to expose factionalists and consolidate the party.
June 11, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 11 June 1957 Nam Il invites the Ambassadors of the USSR, China, Czechoslovakia, and Poland to seek consensus on holding an unofficial conference that clarifies positions against potential US efforts to change Article 13 of the Armistice agreement.
June 4, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 4 June 1957 Puzanov and Nam Il agree on the need to object to a potential US proposal to modify Article 13 of the Armistice agreement. Nam Il also hints at the desire for Chinese troops to withdraw from the DPRK and expresses the KWP Presidium's concern regarding the issue of the KWP CC premier.
May 28, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 28 May 1957 Nam Il and Puzanov object to American efforts to legitimize the military fortification of South Korea by changing Article 13 of the Armistice agreement. Nam Il also requests consultation for the DPRK draft of its first five-year plan. Later, Puzanov meets with PNR Ambassador Siedlecki, who discusses the Neutral Commission's perspective on the US proposal to change the Armistice.
May 6, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 6 May 1957 Kim Il Sung informs Puzanov of the DPRK's efforts to avert South Korean subversive activity against North Korea, discussions on the construction of a new irrigation system in Chonsan, and North Korea's possibility of providing food aid to South Korea.
April 29, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 29 April 1957 The DPRK Ambassador to the GDR tell Puzanov about a conference of DPRK ambassadors. He directs Puzanov's attention to the following issues: the disgrace of the former DPRK Ambassador to the USSR Ri Sang-jo, the possibility of a neutral Korea, DPRK foreign trade relations, the recall of the DPRK Ambassador from Romania, and party-government delegations from various communist countries.
April 10, 1957	Journal of Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 10 April 1957 Puzanov notes his protocol visits to other foreign representatives in North Korea. He relays his understanding of the DPRK's five-year plan to the Ambassador of China, Qiao Xiaoguang. Later, Puzanov summarizes Pak Jeong-ae's explanation of the need for increased vigilance against South Korea as well as news of an upcoming conference of women.
