October 31, 1962	Cable from Soviet Foreign Minister Gromyko to USSR Ambassador to Cuba A. I. Alekseev Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko cables the Soviet Embassy in Havana that the Soviet leadership had decided to allow UNSG U Thant and his representatives to visit Soviet launchers sites in Cuba and verify that the launchers are being dismantled.
August 15, 1968	Report from the Bulgarian Ambassador in Havana, Stefan Petrov to Todor Zhivkov on the Domestic and Foreign Policy of Cuba The ambassador gives an assessment of the Cuban domestic and foreign policy. He characterizes Fidel Castro as an adventurer and points to certain communist party decisions that are incompatible with the Marxist-Leninist doctrine.
January 26, 1968	Fragments of the Intervention of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro at the Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party January 25-26, 1968. F. Castro speaks of relations with the US and Kennedy, friendship with the USSR, as well as placement of missiles, security issues as the US's imperialistic nature, while extolling the virtures of socialism, Cuba, and "The Revolution." Castro also stresses that Soviet withdrawal of weapons from Cuba is a blow to the international Communist movement.
May 29, 1963	Agreement between Cubans and Soviets Regarding Defense and Technology Agreement between the government of Cuba and the government of the USSR concerning the installation of technical equipment of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, and in reinforcing the defensive capacity of the Republic of Cuba and annexes. Includes timetables and charts outlining the import of resources from the Soviets to the Cubans over a period of several years.
April 26, 1979	USSR Embassy in Cuba, 'Informational Letter on Contemporary Cuban-American Relations' The Soviet Embassy in Havana gives an overview of the latest developments in US-Cuban relations. While steps towards a rapprochment have been undertaken, both sides are deadlocked on the issue of Cuba's military involvement in Africa.
September 30, 1961	Agreement and Lists to the Secret Agreement Between Cuba and the USSR An agreement between Cuba and the USSR on the provision of special materials to Cuba and payment for these materials. Three annexes are included. Annex I: lists war materials provided by the USSR in 1961-2. 1/3 of the value paid. Annex II: lists materials in 1962-63. 2/3 of the value paid. AnnexIII: lists materials in 1962-3. Total value paid.
March 23, 1962	Letter to Comrade Brisuela Letter written to Comrade Carlos C. Brisuela, a representative of the Cuban government. Two annexes are attached. These state that the USSR will provide to Cuba (in addition to the materials provided by the 30 Sept. 1961 agreement) the materials as specified in Annex I. Apart from the provision provided by Annex I, the USSR will provide materials in accordance with Annex II. In all other affairs, the parties are guided by the original Sept. 1961 agreement.

March 11, 1976	Minutes of the Meeting between Todor Zhivkov and Fidel Castro in Sofia Conversation for the record between Zhivkov and Castro during a four-day-long state visit of the Cuban leader to Bulgaria. Among the main issues discussed was the state of economic development in both countries, their relations with Albania, China, Romania and Yugoslavia; the Cuban foreign policy in Africa and the Caribbean; the civil war in Angola; the battle for the Third World.
October 4, 1962	Telegram from Soviet Ambassador to the USA Anatoly F. Dobrynin to the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dobrynin sends the results of a meeting between Rusk, himself and the Foreign Ministers of Latin American countries where they discussed questions of security, trade, and the question of the Cuban government in exile.
