October 10, 1986	Minutes of the Visit of a Delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the People’s Republic of Poland (PRL) in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Paek Hak-rim suggests stepping up cooperation between North Korea and Poland in the fields of science, technology, and firefighting, as well as continuing exchange visits to share experiences in maintaining public order and combating crime. Kim Yong-ryong also suggests that information exchanges and technical cooperation be enhanced.
June 8, 1979	Memorandum for Zbigniew Brzezinski from Nick Platt, 'PRC Meeting on PRM-45 Thursday, June 7, 1979,’ June 6, 1979, and Policy Review Committee, 'Korea' Brzezinski sent a summary of the PRC meeting, including a discussion on the inter-relationship between troop withdrauwl policy and human rights issues in South Korea.
August 3, 1953	Confidential Memorandum, Before Agreeing to the Armistice Agreement When the United States agreed to a truce talk to end the Korea War, President Syngman Rhee disapproved. He opposed the truce and tried to attack these peace proceedings through a serious of events- such as releasing thousands of prisoners of war and creating turmoil for the US government. In order to persuade Rhee to accept the armistice defense, the US dispatches Assistant Secretary of State Walter Robertson to meet with the South Korean president in a series of bargaining discussions. Eventually, under certain conditions and a mutual defense pact with the US, Rhee agrees to the armistice.
August 14, 1953	Memorandum, President Syngman Rhee to All Diplomatic Officials Following the ratification of the Armistice Agreement and the Mutual Defense Treaty, President Rhee conveys that he expects the Armistice to fail because the communists will “undoubtedly” violate it and undermine Korean independence. Rhee wants to renew war to secure victory but most importantly to strengthen the ROK-U.S alliance. Following the memorandum he makes twelve points ranging from topic like Korean rehabilitation to prisoners of war from the Korean War.
June 23, 1955	Letter, Lt. General C.R. Ferenbaugh to Vice Minister Lee Ho On June 21, 1955, two defecting members of the North Korean Air force landed a North Korean YAK-18 on Seoul International Airport. Lt. General C.R. Ferenbaugh urges Vice Minister Lee Ho to relinquish the aircraft to the 5th US Air force and the Air Technical Intelligence Center, whom have the “best means” for a thorough investigation on the enemies’ (DPRK and USSR) aircraft and aeronautical industrial technique.
February 11, 1983	Letter, Kyung-Won Kim to H.E. Ambassador O.A. Troyanovsky Ambassador Kim denounces North Korea for distorting the ROK-US defensive military exercise and contributing to the tension in Korean peninsula.
December 30, 1971	Letters between Narasimhan and Ozbudun In a series of letters, Narasimhan provides updates on the state of emergency, the Red Cross negotiations, North Korea's defense posture, the US ambassador's remarks on US-ROK relations, North Korean infiltrations, and UNCURK meetings.
March 1, 1967	Telegram from Pyongyang to Bucharest, No.76.075, TOP SECRET, March 1, 1967 N. Popa discusses the alleged decisions by the United States and South Korea to bomb the North Korean coast after the sinking of a South Korean boat. Although the true intentions of such plan is not clear, North Korea signaled its unwillingness to confront with the two countries.
December 21, 1974	The Record of Conversation between Foreign Minister of Mongolian People's Republic and President Kim Il Sung of North Korea at 21 Dec., 1974 During the Foreign Minister of the Mongolian People's Republic's visit to Pyongyang, Kim Il Sung thanks Mongolia for its support of Korea's unification and welcomes discussion on each country's economic situation. Kim Il Sung also laments North Korea's military burden, expressing distaste for American imperialism.
